Deep in the woods outside Coboconk, Ontario, you’ll find something rare: total peace, true privacy, and a place to make your own. For just $375, you get unlimited summer access to your own off-grid mini cabin on 12 acres of private land. We are reinvesting the small fee we charge into improving the land and facilities. Our goal is to make this a place people return to year after year.
We ask every guest to pitch in by mowing the grass around their area, weed-whacking paths, planting flowers, building or upgrading firepits using the large rocks available across the property, and helping to clear dead ash trees for firewood. Leave the place better than you found it every time you visit. Let’s work together to turn this special property into a beautiful, secluded getaway we can all enjoy again and again.
There are 10 rustic cabins available, each 10 feet by 12 feet. The cabins are spaced out across 12 forested acres and come with deeded access to Raven Lake — a quiet, non-motorized lake that’s perfect for paddling and fishing. There is one shared composting toilet. These cabins are completely off-grid: no electricity, no running water, no garbage pickup, and no campground-style rules. You bring your own furnishings, BBQ, water, lighting, and camping gear. This isn’t glamping — it’s real camping, but with a solid roof over your head.
One-time fee: $375 per cabin for unlimited access from July 1 to August 31. Viewings are available Saturday, June 28th. To book a cabin or request directions, please contact us.
All renters must provide a copy of their valid driver’s license and sign our waiver before accessing the property. The waiver is available in PDF and Word Doc format on the site.
